Review: Nars Chrome Collection

Hi loves! I loved the Nars Chrome Collection, which contains eyeshadow palette and a lipstick.  The palette is sold out, but you can find it on ebay (link), if you really want it, but its over priced there. The lipstick is still available on their page (link).

The palette contains 6 eyeshadows (1 satin and 5 glittery shadows) and the lipstick is creamy with light lilac sheen to it. The packaging is the same as always, sleek and black with the brands logo on it.

The lipstick itself is too light for me and I would look weird, if I would wear it on its own. I always pair it with a bit darker nude lip liner and leave the inner part of the lip empty, where I apply the lipstick. Down below you can see the swatch and its only lipstick in this shade I own. I just love the lilac sheen it has. Its still available, if you are interested and the link to Nars page is in the beginning of the post.

The eyeshadow palette in this collection is one of the funnest I have seen from them. The more glittery shades are so unique and beautiful. When I use this palette I do need to take other shadows to use in the crease, because I do like mattes and there is nothing I can see myself use in the crease.  You can see the palette for yourself down below.

I did experience fall out with this palette when I used more of the glittery shadows. I would recommend doing the eye look first and then applying the base products. Also with the glitter shadows I would use something under to get more intense look, otherwise  it doesn't look as good.

On the left you can see the first row swatched and there is no primer under the swatches. These are pigmented and just gorgeous, specially the last shadow. I love the teal sheen it gives, when catching the light. These all look gorgeous as lid colors and I use the first shadow when I go for everyday eye look.

The second row is even more beautiful. I'm obsessed with the gold shadow and it has red sheen to it, when catching light. Also the first shadow is perfect to highlight inner corner of the eye. I'm so taken with this row and can't get enough. I even took this palette with me to Estonia, thats how much I'm loving it.

Down below you can see the demo part of this review. You can see how much fall out I get with this palette and how everything applies and looks on me.

I'm so happy with this collection. I'm sorry it took me so long to get this post up, but I wanted to test out every shadow, before giving my thoughts on the palette. Like I said before the lipstick is available on their page and the palette can be found on ebay, but its so over priced. Everything is linked in the beginning of the post.

Have you tried anything from this collection already?

Review: Haleys Reset Liquid Matte Mattiifying Foundation | 2.25

Hi loves! Today I have a lovely foundation to share with you :) Its Haleys Reset Liquid Matte Mattiifying Foundation (32ml, $22) and I have shade 2.25 (light skin with neutral to warm undertones). There is altogether 9 shades available and mine is second lighter shade.

The packaging of this foundation is different then any other, one side is clear and its very slim and sleek. Its ideal to take with me when traveling, which I did (I'm in Estonia at the moment). It takes so few space in my makeup bag. Only down side is, that I can display it.

Its with instant matte finish foundation and it doesn't feel stick on skin (not even for second). It feels light weight on skin, blends into the skin so effortlessly and gives me medium to full coverage, at the same time I feel my skin can breath. On their page its recommended to apply with a sponge to get the best result. I personally have been liking a brush to apply it and a little product goes a long way. Its formulated with double dose of pigments and contains an exclusive antioxidant blend to nourish, sooth and protect the skin from environmental aggressors. Its also with out parabens, sulfates, phthalates and fragrance.

IngredientsAqua, Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, PEG-10 Dimethicone, Mica, Butylene Glycol, Neopentyl Glycol Diethylhexanoate, Isododecane, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Dimethyl Isosorbide, Sodium Chloride, Tocopherol, Bakuchiol, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Ethylhexylglycerin, Benzyl Alcohol, Propylene Carbonate, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499).

All the info on the ingredients is from EWG's Skin Deep Cosmetics Database(low hazardmedium hazardhigh hazard).

I have been loving this foundation! It keeps my oily skin matte and it never gets cakey on me <3 I'm so impressed and you can see the demo down below.

If you are interested in this foundation and you are in USA, you can find it here.

Review: Bliss Multi Face eted All In One Anti-Aging Clay Mask

Hi loves! Clay masks are must have for me and I like the Bliss Multi Face eted All In One Anti-Aging Clay Mask (65g, $50) has some anti aging benefits, which I do need in my age. It promise with most visible signs of aging, like dark spots, dullness, dryness, fine lines and wrinkles.

The mask comes in a glass jar and I like to apply with a brush. That way its not as messy and feels more like spa. I also like the mask promises to shrink pores, helps with skin texture and sucks out all the impurities. I also like its 5 minute mask and its my morning mask.

Key Ingredients:
  • 10% Glycolic Acid - helps to dissolve dead skin cells, clear pores from dirt, increase skin cell turnover, which helps to improve the look fine lines and wrinkles. Also reduces the size of pores.
  • Quartz - micro fine quarts particles gently exfoliate the skin for smoother looking skin.
  • Kaolin - is effective cleansing mud, which helps to get out impurities and toxins like dirt, oil, debris and pollutants, to unclog and diminish the size of pores.
  • Carbon - helps to suck out all the dirt from the pores.
  • Kojic Acid - is anti-bacterial acid, which has brightening properties. Overtime time it makes the dark spots to fade.
  • Jojoba Oil - is non creasy moisturizer, which sinks into the skin  easily  and leaves the skin feeling soft and hydrated.

How to use:
I apply the mask on cleansed skin and I like to do it in the mornings, because I keep it on only 5 minutes. Its a fast fuss free mask. I apply generous amount of product on my face and leave it for 5 minutes. Then I wash it off with water and I go in with an another cleanser to get everything off. Its bit stubborn, otherwise I would be left with grayish tone to my skin. After that I dry my face and I'm left with smoother and softer skin. It doesn't dry my skin out or feel uncomfortable when on skin. I also feel it improves my blood circulation.

Down below  you can see the before and after picture. It did make my skin red, but it doesn't feel like it irritation. I also feel my pores look smaller and makeup application was much smoother.

I have mostly used it up and I did like it. Its a wonderful mask for oily skin and I specially like it has anti-aging benefits in it as well, which my skin needs now that I'm in my 30's. I would buy it again, if I see it. I got mine in TK Maxx, but it is available on Amazon (link) and they do ship here, but I don't wanna pay the duty taxes, so I wouldn't be buying it there. If I see it in stores here I would love to buy another jar.

Have you tried this Bliss mask before?

Thank you for reading! xo's

Review: Lord & Berry Supreme Eyeliner | Smart Blue

Hi loves! I love discovering new creamy liners and I have been using  Lord & Berry Supreme Eyeliner in shade Smart Blue (1.14g, 18.00 EUR). Its available altogether 3 different shades: blue, purple and green.

I need to sharpen it, which I'm not a fan. I like twist up liners more, but it is creamy and glides on easily. Its pigmented and has a metallic sheen to it. Its waterproof and it lasted on me all day and didn't smudge. I do like to do smokey eye with it, when I go for more blue and purple tones.

The formula contains Jojoba oil, which is nourishing and improves skin suppleness.

This is one of the most creamiest liners in my collection. It glides on like a dream and it also blends out easily for a smoky eye look.

The liner hasn't irritated my eyes and I do have sensitive eyes and some beauty products have caused my eyes to itch. Its always great to discover products, which don't do it and is gentle to use around the eye area.

I'm happy I have it in my collection. Its a great way to add bit of colour to my eye looks and go for more smoky looks this time of the year. If you are interested in this item, you can check out all 3 shade here.

Review: Hourglass Ambient Light Edit - Volume 3

Hi loves! Sephora France sold for a day Hourglass Ambient Light Edit - Volume 3 palette ($80, 1.4gx6), which I picked up, because I just couldn't resist it. I got their last year's holiday palette as well, which you can see here.

The palette comes in metallic packaging, which does show fingerprints, but its easy to clean it. It contains 6 powder: Finishing Powder: Diffused Light, Dim light; Strobe Powder: Hypnotic Strobe Light; Bronzer: Luminous Bronze Light; Blushes: Surreal Halo, Pure Effect.

All these powders give a glow to the skin and I like its not too much. It makes me always feel its my skin looking this amazing and its nothing to do with this gorgeous palette. Its formulated with Photoluminescent Technology, which captures, diffuses and softens surrounding light to make the skin look softer, younger and lit from within. Its formulated with out parabens, talc, fragrance, gluten and nanoparticle.

These blend out like a dream and I love that I can build up the colour and get the flawless look I want. These give very flattering glow to me, because I do have oily skin and I don't want a highlighter, which makes me look more oily.

  • Dim Light - is finishing powder and is peach beige powder. It bit dark for my skin toner. It blurs imperfections and highlights the complexion in really flattering way.
  • Diffused Light - is perfect for my pale skin :) Its soft yellow, which helps to conceal redness.
  • Luminous Bronze Light - is medium tan shade and it gives my complexion the glow within, which I really like.
  • Surreal Halo - is a new shade. It is a berry shade, which is perfect for this time of the year and its fused with Surreal Light.
  • Pure Effect - which is also new and is bright petal pink and I love to wear it day time. I have also mixed it with Surreal Halo. I feel when I wear it I can skip highlighter.
  • Hypnotic Strobe Light - is also new and its a champagne powder and is infused with with multidimensional pearly to give gorgeous highlight, which fit oily skin type. It looks so flattering on me and just love it.

This does last all day, but it does fade. I have had it on more then 12 hours and there is still some left, just not as vivid as it was in the morning. If I would go out in the evening, I would freshen up.

I'm really happy with this palette. It is price and you don't get a lot of product. I do like I can try out more then on of their powders, which are pricy to begin with and I personally like palettes more then the full size item. It takes me forever to use up anything in my collection and I feel I can do better with a palette.

If you are interested in it, you can join with the weight list on their page (link).

Will you be picking it up?

Thank you for reading! xo's
